Leadership management of village heads based on soft skill development of coastal communities in Indonesia

This study aims to map the soft skills of coastal area community’s potentials through leadership management village heads be innovative develop growth in northern Indonesia. The relied on a survey with mixed method. It involved villagers Bilato District, Gorontalo Regency, Indonesia, as population and 33 (village heads, officials, prominent figures, villagers) sample. was found that heads’ skill development community based innovation system arrives at good category. Further, this managing potential characteristics communities areas systems category percentage 71.4%. is obtained several indicators, i.e., (1) 76.3% (good category); (2) head strategy 75.4%; (3) 66.2% category). expected it can further improved other indicators apart from grand design analysis model systems.
